Over the years there have been many new designs, some original some just bringing back old fashions. We are now faced with many many ways in which we can carry our money around with us. Each of us has our own preference, but maybe we have only ever looked into one way and stuck to it, maybe for our entire lives. There’s more than one way out there, maybe how you carry your money right now is perfect for you, maybe there’s another way that you haven’t known about or have just been to stuck in your way to change. Here are some of those alternatives.

The first option we are going to look at is the very basic method. The money clip. For many of use we carry all out cash notes in a money clip and our coins loose in our pockets. For some this is perfect. Maybe the individual doesn’t use credit cards and always buys with cash and they have managed to resist the ever popular trend of store and loyalty cards that we’re bombarded with in almost every shop we enter. Money clips are super simple and really low mass, if you don’t like having bulky items in your pockets and never use cards to pay then this might just be perfect for you.

Then we have the good old wallet. Good for keeping everything you carry in one place, cash (notes and coins) and any plastic that you carry. Ideal for those of that like to keep a certain amount of money on our person at all times. But also having the option of using a credit or debit card for those purchases that we haven’t planned on making. And unlike the money clip user we might have given in and accepted those store and loyalty cards, we might never use them but if we have a good sized wallet then when the time comes that we do use them they are there for us.

The final option that we’re going to have a quick look at is the credit card wallet, becoming evermore popular with working professionals. These are ideal for individuals who never carry cash on them. Maybe as a security precaution, at least of someone steals your cards its easy for you to phone up the card provider and cancel those cards before any damage can be done to your bank or credit accounts. Also with the ever increasing number of cards we are asked to carry most traditional wallets just don’t have the space to keep them all. A debit card wallet is relatively low mass too, there’s no cash in there bulking them up so these are perfect when you keep items in your pockets at all times, especially the pocket on the inside of your suit, no one will ever know its there.

As you can see there are loads of options for carrying your money around, you just need work out which option is perfect for you. Maybe there’s a solution not mentioned here, but there will be one for you somewhere.
